Our mission is to promote, protect, and restore a healthy Blue River watershed through cooperative community education, stewardship, and resource management.We focus on the entire watershed, which drains an area of about 680 square miles covering all of Summit County and portions of Grand and Lake Counties.

The goal of the Yampa River Fund is to establish a sustainable, voluntary funding source for the Yampa River in order to: Enhance water security for communities, agriculture, the economy, and the natural environment in the Yampa Valley; Support a healthy, flowing river and enhance critical low flows through water leases from reservoirs, and; Maintain or improve river function through a holistic approach to restoration of riparian and/or in-channel habitat.

Eagle River Watershed Council advocates for the health of the Upper Colorado and Eagle River watersheds through research, education and projects. The Watershed Council strives to protect and enhance the high-quality natural, scenic and economic values that our rivers and tributaries provide to the citizens, visitors and wildlife of the Eagle River and Colorado River watersheds located in Eagle County.

Trout Unlimited is a national non-profit dedicated to protecting our cold water fisheries and environment. Our local chapter is located at the headwaters of the Colorado River, and works hard to protect the Colorado, Fraser and our other local rivers.

Since 1996, Roaring Fork Conservancy has inspired people to explore, value, and protect the Roaring Fork Watershed. We bring people together to protect our rivers and work hard to keep water in local streams, monitor water quality, and preserve riparian habitat.
As one of the largest watershed organizations in Colorado, Roaring Fork Conservancy serves residents and visitors throughout the Roaring Fork Valley through school and community-based Watershed Education programs and Watershed Science and Policy Projects including regional watershed planning, water resource policy initiatives, stream management, and restoration.
